Our portfolio company Easy Crypto has been acquired by Australian-based Swyftx. Congratulations to founder and CEO Janine Grainger and her team!

Since our initial investment in 2021, we have been proud to support Janine’s journey as a pioneering female founder. Under her visionary stewardship, in an immature digital asset marketplace, Easy Crypto has grown through a period of disruption and challenge proving the value of focusing on delivering A+ customer experience, while driving profitable growth and continuing to innovate.

This strategic merger crystallises value for Easy Crypto investors and recognises Easy Crypto’s valuable position as a key player in the APAC crypto industry as New Zealand’s largest crypto exchange, its profitable track record, its overseas regulatory licenses and its team’s ability to deliver innovative and secure products and services for the global crypto markets.This exit within the first four years of Even Capital’s establishment is something we are immensely proud of. As the only female-founded, female-focused and female-funded growth stage VC in Aotearoa New Zealand, our fit with Janine and her vision was apparent from our first meeting. Her grit and determination to succeed was tangible.  Janine is one of the top performing start-up founders in APAC. We have invested twice in her journey and will be keenly watching what she does next.
